Getting to know the house
This house is not a luxury villa; it is a countryside holiday home built in 1988, used by the family for vacations and, for a period of time, as a primary residence. Since 2017, it has been offered on short-term rental platforms, mainly on Airbnb, but also on several others such as VRBO, BOOKING and HOMETOGO. The house is available for rent in all seasons, but it is mainly used by guests during the summer period, usually from June to September. However, the local weather also allows for a very pleasant stay in April, in the heart of spring, as well as in October.
We would now like to present some basic information so that guests can have the fullest possible understanding of the accommodation before making a reservation. These are:
- We, the hosts, Titsa and Dimitris, live in a basement apartment of the house. There is a separate entrance, so you will only meet us upon your arrival and if you need anything, or occasionally while we take care of the garden, although we try to do this when you are not at home.
- The pool is fenced and locked so that small children cannot access it unless you wish so and under your supervision. The use of the pool is exclusively for you, and upon arrival you will be given its key.
- The water in the area is not drinkable, so you will need to buy bottled water, including for cooking. However, there is no need to worry for the first days of your stay, as bottled water will already be available in the house.
- Upon arrival, you must give us the passport number and the country of origin of the person who made the reservation, as required by law for tax purposes. For this reason, there is a form that you can fill in within this application.
It is the ideal place for large families or small groups seeking relaxation by the beautiful beaches and rural landscapes of Greece. Ideally situated on 5 stremmas, this three-storey house is just a few minutes from the town and the beaches of the Gulf of Corinth. Vrachati, a beautiful seaside town, has many restaurants, cafés and entertainment options for children, and is only 15 minutes from Corinth and just one hour from Athens.
A few words about the hosts
Titsa holds a degree in Greek Philology from the University of Thessaloniki. She worked for 30 years as a secondary education teacher in the Greek public sector. She is also an author and has published poetry collections and short prose works. Two of her works have been honored with the First State Prize of the Republic of Cyprus.
Dimitris holds a degree in Mathematics from the University of Athens. He worked for 32 years in bank IT departments as a COBOL programmer on IBM mainframe systems, starting in the 1970s. He also worked with PC software, which is why he created the present website.
We hope that the above information provides a true picture of the accommodation so that guests can have a clear view before proceeding with a reservation. The accommodation does not operate under typical hotel terms; it is a home for leisure and relaxation, and arrival and departure can take place at any time of the day or night.

The reservation process & terms:
1. Deposit: The guest 30 days before arrival, will receive a notice from the host to deposit 89 euros in a bank account or PayPal account that will be indicated by email, to confirm the reservation. The deposit must be made within 5 days of this communication, otherwise the host is obliged to cancel the reservation and free the calendar on all platforms.
2. Final Payment: If the guest confirms the reservation definitively, has the option to pay the rest upon arrival, by the method of his choice (except debit or credit card).
3. Calendar Synchronization: About 5 minutes after making your reservation, you can see on Airbnb, Booking, Vrbo that your dates are marked as unavailable on their platforms.
4. Discounts: Discounts according to the duration of stay and additional discount for returning guests. Complete the availability form to see the final price.

TAXES

Από το 2017 διατίθεται σε πλατφόρμες βραχυχρόνιας μίσθωσης, κυρίως στην Airbnb αλλά και μερικές άλλες, όπως VRBO, BOOKING, HOMETOGO. Το σπίτι είναι διαθέσιμο για ενοικίαση όλες τις εποχές αλλά κυρίως χρησιμοποιείται από τους επισκέπτες κατά τη θερινή περίοδο, συνήθως από Ιούνιο έως Σεπτέμβριο. Ο καιρός της περιοχής επιτρέπει όμως πολύ ευχάριστη διαμονή και τον μήνα Απρίλιο στην καρδιά της άνοιξης όπως και Οκτώβριο.
Τώρα θα θέλαμε να παραθέσουμε κάποιες βασικές πληροφορίες έτσι ώστε ο επισκέπτης να έχει την πληρέστερη γνώση για το κατάλυμα πριν κάνει την κράτηση. Αυτές είναι:
- Εμείς οι οικοδεσπότες, η Τίτσα και ο Δημήτρης, μένουμε σε υπόγειο διαμέρισμα του σπιτιού. Υπάρχει ξεχωριστή είσοδος, οπότε θα μας συναντήσετε μόνο κατά την άφιξή σας και αν χρειαστείτε κάτι, ή κάποια στιγμή ενώ φροντίζουμε τον κήπο, αν και προσπαθούμε να το κάνουμε όταν δεν είστε στο σπίτι.
- Η πισίνα είναι περιφραγμένη και κλειδωμένη, ώστε τα μικρά παιδιά να μην έχουν πρόσβαση σε αυτήν, εκτός αν το επιθυμείτε και υπό την επίβλεψή σας. Η χρήση της πισίνας είναι αποκλειστικά για εσάς και κατά την άφιξή σας θα σας δοθεί το κλειδί της.
- Το νερό στην περιοχή δεν είναι πόσιμο, οπότε θα χρειαστεί να αγοράσετε εμφιαλωμένο νερό και για το μαγείρεμα. Ωστόσο, δεν χρειάζεται να ανησυχείτε για τις πρώτες ημέρες της διαμονής σας, καθώς θα υπάρχει ήδη εμφιαλωμένο νερό στο σπίτι.
- Κατά την άφιξή σας, θα πρέπει να μας δώσετε τον αριθμό διαβατηρίου καθώς και τη χώρα καταγωγής του ατόμου που έκανε την κράτηση, όπως ορίζει ο νόμος, για φορολογικούς σκοπούς. Γι’ αυτό υπάρχει μια φόρμα που μπορείτε να συμπληρώσετε σε αυτή την εφαρμογή.
Είναι το ιδανικό μέρος για μεγάλες οικογένειες ή μικρές ομάδες που αναζητούν χαλάρωση στις όμορφες παραλίες και τα αγροτικά τοπία της Ελλάδας. Cette maison n’est pas une villa de luxe ; c’est une résidence de campagne construite en 1988, utilisée par la famille pour les vacances et, pendant un certain temps, comme résidence principale. Depuis 2017, elle est proposée sur des plateformes de location de courte durée, principalement sur Airbnb, mais aussi sur d’autres plateformes telles que VRBO, BOOKING et HOMETOGO. La maison est disponible à la location en toute saison, mais elle est surtout utilisée par les visiteurs pendant la période estivale, généralement de juin à septembre. Le climat de la région permet toutefois un séjour très agréable également au mois d’avril, au cœur du printemps, ainsi qu’en octobre.
Nous souhaitons maintenant présenter quelques informations de base afin que le visiteur ait une connaissance aussi complète que possible de l’hébergement avant de faire sa réservation. Les voici :
- Nous, les hôtes, Titsa et Dimitris, habitons dans un appartement en sous-sol de la maison. Il y a une entrée séparée, vous ne nous rencontrerez donc qu’à votre arrivée, si vous avez besoin de quelque chose, ou parfois pendant que nous entretenons le jardin, bien que nous essayions de le faire lorsque vous n’êtes pas à la maison.
- La piscine est clôturée et verrouillée afin que les jeunes enfants n’y aient pas accès, sauf si vous le souhaitez et sous votre surveillance. L’usage de la piscine vous est exclusivement réservé et, à votre arrivée, la clé vous en sera remise.
- L’eau de la région n’est pas potable ; vous devrez donc acheter de l’eau en bouteille, y compris pour cuisiner. Toutefois, vous n’avez pas à vous inquiéter pour les premiers jours de votre séjour, car de l’eau en bouteille sera déjà disponible dans la maison.
- À votre arrivée, vous devrez nous communiquer le numéro de passeport ainsi que le pays d’origine de la personne ayant effectué la réservation, conformément à la loi, à des fins fiscales. C’est pourquoi un formulaire est disponible dans cette application.
C’est l’endroit idéal pour les grandes familles ou les petits groupes à la recherche de détente au milieu des belles plages et des paysages ruraux de la Grèce. Idéalement située sur 5 stremmas, cette maison de trois étages se trouve à quelques minutes seulement de la ville et des plages du golfe de Corinthe. Vrachati, une belle ville balnéaire, offre de nombreux restaurants, cafés et divertissements pour les enfants, et se trouve à seulement 15 minutes de Corinthe et à une heure d’Athènes.

Titsa est diplômée en philologie grecque de l’Université de Thessalonique. Elle a travaillé pendant 30 ans comme professeure dans l’enseignement secondaire public grec. Elle est également écrivaine et a publié des recueils de poésie et des récits en prose. Deux de ses œuvres ont reçu le Premier Prix d’État de la République de Chypre.
Dimitris est diplômé en mathématiques de l’Université d’Athènes. Il a travaillé pendant 32 ans dans les services informatiques de banques comme programmeur COBOL sur des systèmes IBM mainframe, à partir des années 1970. Il s’est également occupé de logiciels pour PC, d’où ce site web.

Dieses Haus ist keine Luxusvilla, sondern ein ländliches Ferienhaus, das 1988 gebaut wurde und von der Familie für Urlaube sowie zeitweise als Hauptwohnsitz genutzt wurde. Seit 2017 wird es auf Plattformen für Kurzzeitvermietung angeboten, hauptsächlich bei Airbnb, aber auch auf einigen anderen wie VRBO, BOOKING und HOMETOGO. Das Haus ist das ganze Jahr über zur Miete verfügbar, wird jedoch hauptsächlich von Gästen während der Sommerzeit genutzt, gewöhnlich von Juni bis September. Das Wetter in der Region ermöglicht aber auch im April, im Herzen des Frühlings, sowie im Oktober einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt.
Nun möchten wir einige grundlegende Informationen geben, damit Gäste vor der Buchung ein möglichst vollständiges Bild von der Unterkunft haben. Diese sind:
- Wir, die Gastgeber Titsa und Dimitris, wohnen in einer Souterrainwohnung des Hauses. Es gibt einen separaten Eingang, daher werden Sie uns nur bei Ihrer Ankunft treffen und wenn Sie etwas brauchen, oder gelegentlich, während wir uns um den Garten kümmern, wobei wir versuchen, dies zu tun, wenn Sie nicht im Haus sind.
- Der Pool ist eingezäunt und abgeschlossen, damit kleine Kinder keinen Zugang dazu haben, es sei denn, Sie wünschen es und unter Ihrer Aufsicht. Die Nutzung des Pools ist ausschließlich für Sie bestimmt, und bei Ihrer Ankunft erhalten Sie den Schlüssel dafür.
- Das Wasser in der Region ist kein Trinkwasser, daher müssen Sie Wasser in Flaschen kaufen, auch zum Kochen. Sie müssen sich jedoch für die ersten Tage Ihres Aufenthalts keine Sorgen machen, da bereits abgefülltes Wasser im Haus vorhanden sein wird.
- Bei Ihrer Ankunft müssen Sie uns die Passnummer sowie das Herkunftsland der Person mitteilen, die die Buchung vorgenommen hat, wie es das Gesetz aus steuerlichen Gründen verlangt. Dafür gibt es ein Formular, das Sie in dieser Anwendung ausfüllen können.
